Meet Amari Taylor

Amari Taylor is a determined and driven 2024 graduate from North Carolina Central University, where she obtained her degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security. With a strong passion for leadership and service, Amari became an active member of J.E.W.E.L.S. as part of Cohort 4, quickly distinguishing herself through her dedication to empowering others and fostering community engagement.

From 2022 to 2024, Amari served as President of the NCCU Chapter of J.E.W.E.L.S., leading the organization with vision and purpose. During her tenure, NCCU's Student Activities Board honored the chapter with the title of Most Collaborative Organization, reflecting Amari's ability to build strong partnerships and encourage meaningful campus involvement. Her leadership continues to leave a lasting impact on both the organization and NCCU's community.

As she continues to leave a lasting impact within the organization, she now makes it her purpose to spread her wisdom and empower future women leaders to excel in the social justice field.
