About Aundrea White
Aundrea White is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of combined public and non-profit sector experience. She attended North Carolina Central University where she earned both her Bachelor of Arts in History and Masters of Public Administration. Over the span of her career Aundrea has remained dedicated to providing leadership and professional development opportunities for minority groups within local government organizations. During her tenure with the City of Durham she served as Chair of the Professional Development Advisory Committee from 2008-2014. She also served as an accessor for Developmental Associates, Inc. Leadership Assessment and Development Program. In addition to her commitment to leadership development focused initiatives, Aundrea is profoundly committed to the advancement of equity and inclusion. She has assisted with the development of organizational wide trainings and equity programs for the City of Durham and City of Raleigh.
Aundrea currently serves as the Equity and Strategic Initiatives for the City of Raleigh Parks Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. In addition to this role she is a member of the City of Raleigh’s Equity Team and City of Raleigh’s Strategic Planning Team.
Although, Aundrea is deeply driven by her work in local government she still finds time to nurture her passion for community based initiatives. She is member of the Executive Leadership Team for the Durham Chapter of the National Council for Negro Women. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Front and Back Nine Jr. Golf Academy, Inc.
