About Daija Antone-Hatcher
Daija Antone-Hatcher is a dedicated Family Intervention Specialist at Youth Villages, where she is committed to empowering families and building resilience in at-risk youth. Driven by a deep passion for mental health and social justice, she actively advocates for systemic changes that emphasize women's rights and grassroots initiatives.
Daija brings extensive experience working with organizations that focus on youth, spanning both non-profit and state government sectors. This diverse background has equipped her with the skills to advocate effectively for youth offenders and improve community-based care coordination. Her work reflects her dedication to creating supportive environments that enable young people to thrive.
Her academic journey began at North Carolina Central University, where she earned degrees in Criminal Justice and Social Work in 2018. She furthered her commitment to the field by obtaining her Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2024.
Since its inception in 2018, Daija has been an integral part of the non-profit organization J.E.W.E.L.S., embodying the true meaning of service. As a current board member, she is excited to continue contributing to the organization’s mission and supporting the community.
