Meet Dr. Porche' Okafor

Porche’ A.W. Okafor is an assistant professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She received her Ph.D. from the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University. Her research focuses on racial inequality, criminal sentencing across demographic groups, and social control. She has published in journals such as the Race & Justice, Journal of Contemporary Criminal Justice and Psychology, Crime, and Law.
