Meet Dr. Tyler Clark

Dr. Tyler S. Clark is a Senior Data Analyst and Evaluator at Sage Fox Consulting Group, LLC. with a profound passion for social justice, research, evaluation, and education. Her background in criminal justice and STEM education projects and extensive experience in various grant-funded initiatives make her an asset in the field. Dr. Clark has 6 years of research experience, 4 years of evaluation experience, and 11 years of education experience. Additionally, her 5 years of higher education experience and teaching background exemplify her dedication to nurturing academic growth and excellence. She has served as an adjunct professor at North Carolina Central University, North Carolina A&T State University, and Saint Augustine's University in the fields of criminal justice and public administration. Dr. Clark made significant contributions as an evaluator/researcher at the Office of Assessment, Evaluation, and Research Services at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Throughout her tenure, she actively participated in DoD, NSF, and NIH grant-funded projects, contributing significantly to the advancement of STEM education.

Dr. Clark's academic journey began as she earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Psychology from North Carolina Central University in 2018. Further pursuing her academic aspirations, she obtained an M.S. in Criminal Justice from the same institution in 2020. Driven by her passion for educational research and evaluation, she earned her Ph.D. in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation, specializing in Program Evaluation, from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2023.

Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Dr. Clark demonstrates an unwavering commitment to creating positive social impact. In 2018, she founded a non-profit organization called J.E.W.E.L.S., Inc. (Justice, Empowerment, Wisdom, Excellence, Leadership, and Service) with a vision to empower future women leaders seeking personal and professional growth through mentorship, networking, and service. Currently, the organization thrives with two active chapters on the campuses of North Carolina Central University and North Carolina A&T State University.

Dr. Clark's research interests and publications include the benefits of criminal justice internships, open educational resources, employment discrimination, equity, diversity, and inclusion in STEM contexts, intersectionality, as well as gender inequities in the workforce. She is also a Fall 2017 initiate of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. by way of the Alpha Chi chapter at NCCU.
