Meet Ja’Bria Newton

Ja’Bria Newton is a dedicated leader and passionate advocate who was a former Jewel in the first cohort at North Carolina A&T State University. She is honored to serve on the National Board as Chapter Operations Manager, where she combines her diverse background in Criminal Justice, Psychology, volunteering, and holistic, solution-oriented approaches to her work. Ja’Bria is deeply committed to the principles of holding space for conversation and understanding, speaking up for what matters, caring for both herself and others, and living with passion.

​Ja’Bria is the growing CEO of the Glow to Grow Initiative, a brand dedicated to providing a platform for sustainably economic businesses that offer the care, consideration, and solutions needed for the community. A firm believer in the power of self-awareness, she often reflects, “When you realize you glow, you will grow!”

One of Ja’Bria’s greatest passions is her work with J.E.W.E.L.S., Inc., an organization that embodies the values of Justice, Empowerment, Wisdom, Excellence, Leadership, and Service. These core values, which represent the foundation of both business and family, are deeply important to her. Ja’Bria’s journey to find a place that encourages and uplifts the lives of individuals, especially future role models, led her to J.E.W.E.L.S., Inc.
