Meet Raeven Gibbs

Raeven Gibbs, a native of Raleigh, NC, is a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Juvenile Justice. While at NCCU, she also served for eight years in the U.S. Army as a Military Police officer and SWAT team lead, conducting combat operations in Basra, Iraq, in 2011.

After transitioning from the military, Raeven began her career with JD Sports, starting as an Assistant Store Manager in the company’s retail division before being promoted to the corporate office, where she now works in Property Procurement. Over the past year, she has played a key role in fundraising efforts, helping the JD Finish Line Foundation raise over $12,000 through a silent auction at the company’s "Bowl for Kids" event. Additionally, she was instrumental in securing a $10,000 Louder Than Words grant and a national partnership between JD Sports and YMC.

Beyond her corporate contributions, Raeven has been deeply involved in leadership roles within numerous nonprofit organizations in the Raleigh-Durham area, consistently working to support and uplift her community.
